Vintage metal roller skates by Union Hardware Company with Brunswick Sports branding

Union Hardware Company of Torrington, Connecticut, was a prominent manufacturer of roller skates and hardware products from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century. These adjustable metal roller skates with their distinctive yellow wheels represent the golden age of American roller skating, when such skates were essential recreational equipment for children and young adults. The Brunswick Sports branding indicates a retail partnership with the well-known sporting goods company. Vintage roller skates from this era are highly sought after by collectors of sporting memorabilia, nostalgia enthusiasts, and those interested in mid-century Americana. These items appeal to collectors who appreciate the craftsmanship of American-made products and the cultural significance of roller skating as a popular pastime. The original packaging and apparently unused condition make this set particularly desirable, as complete boxed examples are increasingly rare and valued for both their historical significance and display appeal.
