How to Scan an Antique

How to scan an antique
  1. On the Home screen, tap Scan.
    • Take a new photo of your antique, or
    • Tap the Image icon (bottom right) to upload one from your photo library.
  2. When taking a photo, make sure the object is fully inside the frame.
  3. When uploading from the library, you can Rotate or Retake the photo. You can also crop it by tapping the screen. When ready, tap the âś“ (Tick) button and wait a moment for the identification result.
  4. The result will usually show: About, Estimated Price, Visual Matches, History, Origin, Maker, Time Period, and Visible status.
  5. Use additional features:
    • Visible toggle → share your antique in the Explore feed
    • Refine result → add extra details (e.g., maker’s mark, label) to improve accuracy
    • Collect → save the antique to your digital collection
    • Share icon → export as PDF or web link (if Visible)
    • â‹® (three-dot) icon → save to collection, refine the result, delete the result

How to Manage Your Collections

How to manage your collections
  1. Open your collections
    On the Home screen, tap My Antiques
  2. View your antiques
    In the Snap History tab, see all antiques you’ve recognized with Zophi. Each item shows its status: Visible to You or Visible to Everyone (Explore Feed).
  3. Organize or delete items
    Swipe any antique to the left to move it to another collection or delete it.
  4. Create a new collection
    Go to the Collections tab, tap + New Collection, enter a name, and tap Save.
  5. Add antiques to a collection
    • Open Snap History
    • Tap Manage
    • Select the antiques
    • Tap Move to and choose the collection
  6. Move antiques between collections
    • Open the collection
    • Tap Manage
    • Select the antiques
    • Tap Move to and choose the destination collection
  7. Rename or delete a collection
    Tap the three-dot icon in the top right of a collection and select the desired option.

How to Publish Antiques In the Explore Feed
  1. After scanning your antique, switch on the Visible button at the top of the result screen.
  2. The first time you publish, you’ll be asked to review your profile details. These details, along with your antique, will be visible to other Zophi members.
  3. To view the Explore Feed with your visible antiques and those from other collectors, go to the bottom menu and tap Explore.
  4. Tap on a user to see their profile and other visible antiques (if they shared contact details, you’ll see them here too).
  5. Tap on any antique in the feed to open its identification result.

Only the information you choose to share will appear in the Explore Feed.

How to Manage Settings
  1. Tap the Settings icon (top left) to open your settings.
  2. Tap the photo circle to add or change your profile photo.
  3. Tap Edit Profile to enter or update your details: Name, Username, and Contact (Email, Facebook, Phone, Instagram, WhatsApp).
    • You can leave fields blank if you prefer.
    • Reminder: These details will be visible to other Zophi members only if you choose to make your antiques visible..
  4. In Settings, you can also see the Trophies you’ve earned while using Zophi. Tap Show all to view the full list - from the First Find trophy to the Ultra Scanner award.
  5. Use Restore Purchase to recover your paid subscription (for example, if you reinstall the app or switch devices).
  6. Tap Contact Support to reach the Zophi Team with your questions.
  7. In Settings, you can also turn on Dark Mode and change the App Language.
